The Hestehave route goes through Sjelle and out into the open landscape of the Lyngbygård Ådal. In the valley, there is a rich wildlife and bird life. South of Hestehaveskolen, you walk through Hestehaveskoven which belongs to the estate of Wedelslund.
The route is not wheelchair accessible. Parts of the route are paths in uneven terrain.
Facilities: Parking at Sjelle Church and Hestehaveskolen. Restroom at Sjelle Church.
