Clover Trails near Lem - black route - the surroundings

The route starts at the city's landmark, the Heron, and takes you past the town's school and cultural center. On the outskirts of the town, you will be guided onto the disused railway line, Vestsallingstien. After a short stretch here, the route leads you to Slugten, which is an area with a very special landscape and beautiful nature – locally called "Little Norway." The route continues in the valley past the old manor Bustrup, which left a significant mark in history with Tyge Krabbe from 1511-1541. Today, it is a social-pedagogical center with a daytime school and cultural center. From Bustrup, the route continues along Planetstien towards Sønder Lem Vig, which is an exciting natural area with rich wildlife, plants, and birdlife. At the western end of the inlet lies another of the region's beautiful manors, Hostrup Hovedgård. On the way back to the town, you pass Opperby old school from 1818, Lem old Rectory from 1864, and Lem Church, a beautiful medieval church known for its rich collection of Romanesque granite reliefs.
