This path was created by Viborg Municipality in connection with a restoration project that was inaugurated in 2015. The project aims to reduce the discharge of ochre from Vindelsbæk to Tange Å by creating a dam and stone structures in the watercourse. This means that the water level has been raised, so the water is captured and delayed in the valley. Here, the path crosses the dam.
