The blue route departs from the parking lot at Tversted Lakes. Along Tranevej, the Østerklit route first goes through forest with mountain pine. Here at the edge stand small stunted oak trees covered with light gray-green lichen, creating an atmosphere of a fairy-tale forest. If you choose to take a detour from the route to Dybe Rende, you will come to a small artificial lake where the original access road to the beach used to be. From Østerklit Stokmølle, the route continues along the edge between dune and forest, past Skiveren Camping, to the 28-meter-high Ravklit, which originally was a migrating dune. The dune's movement stopped when the plantation was planted.
