You can swim in the lake, but check the water quality on Herning Municipality's website before you jump in, as there may be algae in the summer. Around the lake, marked trails and a disc golf course have been established. You can park your car by using the entrance from Vesterholmvej and from Brændgårdvej.
At Fuglsang Lake, you will find The Blue Room. A place that provides a framework for activities on, in, and by the water. The Blue Room is an outdoor mecca that can be used by everyone - both as a social meeting place and as a hub for various water and nature activities.
