Vorgod Bard - Yellow Route

"Here you can feel the whispers of history from the area's very exciting and long cultural history. The trail starts at the protected Bardedige by Skovgård, Timringvej 20, 6920 Videbæk. Here there is a folder box and information board. From there, you go left down along the Bardediget, which ends almost all the way down at Vorgod Å. Here, there is the opportunity to enjoy the view over the wide river valley with steep slopes and fish for free, e.g., trout, salmon, perch, and pike. Then the route goes to the right along a field parallel to the river, through part of the protected Barde oak grove. Here, a table/bench set has been set up where you can enjoy your packed lunch. Continue along the field and further to a fence, where you may be fortunate enough to see the landowner's Galloway cattle grazing as part of nature management. For those who wish, you can follow a primitive path almost all the way out to where Abild Å flows into Vorgod Å. Returning, the trail goes along the field and the edge of a thicket, where at the bottom there is a small lake. Along a newly laid green path, you can choose to walk all the way down to the lake, where there is also an opportunity to sit with your packed lunch at a table/bench set. You continue directly to the bottom of Skovgård's large lawn, with a newly built pavilion and stair path, from which you can enjoy the magnificent view over the river valley. Finally, turn right along the farm's large beautiful garden, and you end where you started, at Bardediget. It is also possible to take the route the other way around or only walk part of it, e.g., down to the lake or to the fishing spot and oak grove by Vorgod Å."
