Welcome to Ørting's Path
The path takes you through the original village of Ørting, where the farms were grouped together near Ørting Church until the end of the 18th century. From the late 18th century, the communal management of agricultural land was abandoned throughout Denmark, and the cultivated land, marshes, heath, and forests were distributed among the farms in the villages. This is called the land consolidation. Ørting was consolidated in 1794.
