The trail starts at Østervrå sports field in a shelterbelt and moves through a smaller forest. After that, you walk along the boundary to arable land, after which the trail enters Frode's forest. In the forest, there are large beech trees, and the path follows a loop around 4.9 km. In the forest, it is allowed to have loose dogs. You should be aware that the trail is also a MTB trail, so be aware of mountain bikes during your walk. If you want to shorten the trip, there are two marked shortcuts on the trail.
