Green Clover Path Skærbæk - City Route

Until 1920, Skærbæk belonged to Germany, but a large part of the city's citizens were of Danish descent. This has influenced the city's architecture, which you will encounter on this walking route around the town. The city's large church was German until 1920, while the former Danish free congregation had its own church, which is now used as a cultural center. Along the way, you will encounter both buildings in German home-style – including the rectory of Skærbæk Church – and beautiful examples of the Danish Better Building Practice. Among other things, a number of the city's master mason villas. Opposite the church, you will also pass a small facility with reunion stones, a memorial well, and a memorial plaque.
