Brunebjerg Path - Heart Path

The path starts and ends at Strandmølledammen by Assens Town Hall.

A refreshing walk that takes you along Kærum Å through forests and city. On the way, you can enjoy the rich birdlife. And if you need a rest, there are benches set up in several places along the path. There are also several toilets, fire huts, and even shelters along the route.

The Heart Path follows routes that are mostly suitable for those with walking difficulties, strollers, and wheelchairs. However, there is a stretch along Kærum Å between the stadium and the ring road that is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The entire route is 5¼ km long, but there are several opportunities to take shortcuts. If you're up for a longer trip, you can follow the Kærum Å path all the way to Melbyskoven.

The path has been created in collaboration between Assens Municipality and the Heart Association.
