The Dyssestien

The trail starts like the other paths at Tornby Brugs. From here, there are signs with red arrows and you head south taking your bearing from Tornby Church. You feel the Church Path for a short distance, after which the Dyssestien takes a southern direction and the first destination on the route is the Long Dyss at the farm Risdal. Here you can learn about the history of the long dyss from the information board. From here, the path sharply turns and you walk east, crossing the main road and entering the path's most hilly terrain. You will be able to enjoy a southern view towards Varbro Ådal, and the silence in the hilly landscape. On your way, you will soon pass one of the installed benches, take a break, and enjoy a cup of coffee if you have brought it with you. You are now halfway, and for the rest of the journey, you will pass agricultural areas mainly with Christmas tree cultures. After 500 m along Bjergbyvej, you reach the city limits, and the Dyssestien will be close to its end.
