The Søheden Skov Red Route has been established as part of the Søheden Skov project, which is a collaboration between the Nature Agency and Brønderslev Municipality. The route is a significant upgrade for the area surrounding Lunken Nature School, where there is also a parking lot, toilet, water, shelter, picnic tables, shelters, fire pits, and a small playground.
The route is marked with red arrows, and along the way, there are signs with information about the nature in the area. For a small stretch (right next to Lunken Nature School), one must pass through a grazing fence, where cattle graze in the summer. There are spring gates and good visibility in the fence.
The route can be shortened by taking a "shortcut."
