Siim Skov Ruten

The route of about 1.2 km through Siim Skov is marked with yellow pictograms.

The forest is owned by the Nature Agency, and thus there is full public access. The forest is set up with outdoor life in mind - meaning you may encounter other users who are walking, running, or cycling - and at certain spots, you might also meet a rider on a horse.

The route shows how varied Siim Skov is - both in terms of elevation and in terms of trees and plants.

The route passes by Skovhytten, which is a grill hut with shelters, where the staff from Børnehuset at Kildebjerg spend time with the children during the day. When the hut is not used by Børnehuset, it is available for all other user groups.

The route through Siim Skov can be combined with the Kildebjergruten (red) and Genvejen Kildebjerg (yellow), allowing for many round trips of varying lengths and difficulty levels.

Parking can, for example, be done at either end of the route through Siim Skov – at Hundeskoven or at the parking area at the end of Kildebjerg Skovvej.
