Take a walk north from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />GeoCenter Møns Klint to see the highest viewpoint of the cliff edge with a nearly vertical drop of 128 meters down to the beach. Previously, the cliff edge at this spot was shaped like a chair. Here, the legend says that the queen of the Cliff King sat and gazed out over the sea while the Cliff King was away on a campaign – from this, the place got the name Queen's Chair. Continue a couple of hundred meters north to Forchhammer's Promontory. From here, the view is fantastic. To the north, you can see the folding of the flint layers in the chalk as evidence of the Ice Age's push-up of the cliff. Walk another 100 m north and see "The Face of the Cliff King" as a 10 m high profile in the cliff. On the way
