Næsbydale, between Rønbjerg and Løgstør, is a spectacular V-shaped erosion valley, where the flowing water has carved down into the high moraine landscape on its way to the sea since the Ice Age. The valley ends abruptly in a 35-meter high cliff, where the sea, as one of the few places in North Jutland, constantly gnaws into the landscape, and the gorge constantly changes appearance. The gorge is so deeply cut today that it reaches the groundwater, which can be seen in several places along the beach, where trickling springs flow down the gorge.
On a walk along the beach, you can find many different stones that came here with the Ice Age, and if you keep your eyes open, there is a very high probability of finding various fossils.
