Lynge Nature Area

This short route focuses on the nature around Lynge and the history associated with it. But before you head out into nature and enjoy the view, you can make a quick stop at Lynge's own library, which is open every day from 9 AM to 9 PM. View from Tippen On the way to the natural area in the old gravel pit, you can experience the fantastic view from Tippen. Tippen is one of Lynge Gravel Pit's "mountains." Here at Tippen, at a height of 64.5 meters, there is a great view of, among other things, Frederiksborg Castle, Hillerød Hospital, the Tele Tower in Dyrehaven near Hillerød, and Herlev Hospital. The area is a good place to observe birds of prey. A special species associated with gravel pits is the Sand Martin, which nests in colonies and builds its nest in steep cliffs.
