The Egelunden in Rostrup (2.3 km round trip)

The hiking route in Egelunden follows an asphalt road to a small, hilly forest with oak and beech on a slope high above Lundgårds Bæk and back to Rostrup Church over meadows and fields. The hiking route is not marked.

Starting point: There is free parking without time limits right across from Rostrup Church on Lundgårdsvej, 9510 Arden.

Along the way, you will find a fire hut beautifully located by the stream. There are traces of former fish farms and limestone quarries.

Note: Do not go out onto the concrete platform across from the fire site - there is a risk of falling.
