Northeast Trail

Follow the North Sea Trail and experience cultural and historical traces, magnificent landscapes, and beautiful natural areas. The North Sea Trail is marked with a blue sign with a white 'N' shaped like a wave, making it easy to find your way. The trail mainly follows fields and forest roads, trodden paths, and trails along the coast or in hedgerows and shelterbelts. The stretch from Hals to Melholt offers beautiful and varied nature as well as harbor and city life. Between Hals and Hou, the route follows the Kattegat coast, and between Hou and Melholt, the journey goes through both forest and open areas.
