The trail at Elmegården is located 15 km northwest of Haderslev. Exit the motorway at junction 67, Haderslev Nord, and follow the signs towards Sommersted. Follow the signs in Sommersted towards the visitor farm, farm shop, and community center. There are bus connections to Sommersted.
The trail starts at Elmegården, where you can also park your car. There are four routes, all marked with colored triangles on poles. The yellow route is about 1.4 km, the white route is about 3 km, the red route is about 4.7 km, and the blue route is about 7.6 km. You can walk under the railway bridge at the end point of the blue route and continue to the path system in the wetland area near Mølby.
