Planetstien in Høng Forest

The Planet Path in Høng is established along the road through Høng Forest from Gyldenagervej down towards Bødstrup Å. The Planet Path is 589 m from the Sun to Pluto. It is hoped that this little walk on the Planet Path can provide new knowledge about outer space. The Sun and the planets are made in the scale of 1:1 billion. This means that 1 cm on the Sun and planets corresponds to 10,000 km. The distance between the Sun and the planets is made in the scale of 1:10 billion. When you walk on the Planet Path through the forest, you pass by the dog park, a small playground with a slide, as well as a grill area with picnic tables. The route starts at the parking lot by Gyldenagervej, about 1 km from Høng train station.

The Planet Path was established in 2022. The Planet Path was made by the Kløversti group in Høng in collaboration with Høng Gymnasium and HF, Høng School, and Høng Efterskole based on an idea by Henning Vingborg.

From the Planet Path, you can continue along the marked Kløverstier in Høng, which together amount to 25 km for the benefit of public health.
