Hundevæng Overdrev has a very special history, as the area has developed from agricultural land to a species-rich heath with a number of rare plants and insects over a short period of time. The cultivation of Hundevæng Overdrev ceased in 1995, after which the area has remained as uncultivated fallow land.

It was protected and taken over by the Nature Agency in 2012. Start the tour at Møns Fyr or from the parking lot at Busenevej.
