A true paradise for birds and rare insects. The land-based hook Hyllekrog is a very special piece of Lolland's nature. Here you will find marshlands, dunes, and beaches, lots of birds, and an old lighthouse.
You probably feel more transported to a piece of West Jutland nature than to the rich Lolland soil when you take a walk along the long, pointed Hyllekrog spit. Here live plants and animals that are not found many other places in Lolland. NOTE: During the birds' breeding season from March 1 to July 15, access to Hyllekrog spit is prohibited.
