Around Gærum, you will find 5 hiking routes. The routes are established and maintained by citizens of the town. The red and green routes are cultural-historical routes in the hilly landscape northwest of Gærum. The green route is 4 km and the red route is 7 km long, passing a church, a burial mound, a memorial stone from the war, tumuli, and a long barrow, as well as the pig farm Blakshøjgård and several other properties. The route splits at the farm Sdr. Tørrildhaven, where you can choose between the long or short route. You will find an information board with a map of the routes at Tumlepladsen (playground) in Gærum. The routes are suitable for bicycles, strollers, etc.
