This is one of the shortcuts on the long route.
Åsted Ådal is a protected natural area that, together with Faurholt Hede, forms an area with varied and hilly nature. The many slopes of the valley provide plenty of challenges in the hilly terrain. The place is especially known for its unique animal and plant life and the old elm trees that stand like tall and proud soldiers along the babbling stream. There is one long route. But with opportunities to take shortcuts at two places on the route. It is a footpath that requires good footwear during wet periods. There are 3 parking spaces, all with access paths to the main route. So all in all, a trip of 7.5 km to the access.
