The Heart Path in Stege Forest

In Stege Forest, there is a Heart Trail, which is a circular route of approximately 2.2 km. The route passes by a dog forest at the beginning but does not go through the dog forest. The highlight of the route is the viewpoint Alice Bakke, where at the top you can see Stege Bay on one side and Stege North on the other side. Here, there is a table-bench set, which is an ideal place for a pitstop along the route.

The route in Stege Forest can be extended with a Heart Trail located in the nearby Udby Forest. The Heart Trail includes both paths and the path that connects them.

Stege Forest is a new forest that was planted between 1997 and 2004. Both children and adults from the local area have participated in planting the forest. The main purpose of the forest is to create a green and recreational area close to the town.
