The route starts in Sundsøre from the parking lot at the spit just south of the ferry dock. You walk north and pass the harbor, and then continue the route along the coast. You have the fjord on one side and a protected nature area on the other side. The return trip to Sundsøre goes along Hvalpsundvej. You can take a ferry from Hvalpsund to Sundsøre. The route is marked with blue arrows.
