All the routes start from the parking lot, and the wide paths with a good, solid surface wind in large curves through the forest, constantly opening up new views, either of stretches of forest and clearings or of the hilly landscape outside the forest. The trail system is probably Denmark's first trail system designed so that hikers and mountain bikers can enjoy the same route without being afraid of colliding. People on foot walk clockwise, while cyclists ride counterclockwise. In this way, they meet without having to walk and look over their shoulders to keep an eye on the cyclists. In some places, the height difference on the paths is 40 meters within a kilometer, so it is quite steep.
