The Skjoldung Paths are a network of trails that all run through Gl. Lejre. The branching of the Skjoldung Path to Roskilde goes through and along forests, rivers, lakes, and Roskilde Fjord. Along the way, notable sites include Roskilde Harbor with the Viking Ship Museum, Skt. Hans, Boserup Forest, Svogerslev Lake, and the Ship Setting at Gl. Lejre.
