The Mosestien by Stubbergård Lake

Stubbergård Lake and the surrounding landscape have been protected since 1980. The aim of the protection is to preserve the scientific, cultural historical, and landscape values and to improve public access to the 437 ha large privately owned area. The “Mosestien” is a handicap-friendly path (but bring a helper) that runs through the marsh at the northern end of Stubbergård Lake.

The trip offers many different experiences, including the Sortehusene, where information boards about the lake and the area can be found. A bird hide has been built by the lake, allowing visitors to reach the lakeshore and observe the birdlife without disturbance. There are tables and benches in the parking lot, as well as an accessible toilet with drinking water. Cold water is available from the tap.

Access: From Sevel, drive about 3 km northeast on Søgårdvej. Here, turn right onto the gravel road at the sign for “Nature Path.” Follow the gravel road for about 1.5 km until it ends at Søgårdvej 34b, 7830 Vinderup.
