Holm Mill - Nature Trails - The Blue Brochures

A watermill has been at Holm Mølle since the 13th century, where it was the monks who operated the mill. The current main building is from 1856. The mill ground grain until 1912, when it was converted to electricity production. Today, the milling operation has long ceased. But there is still life at Holm Mølle, which has been converted into a guesthouse since 2001.

A path leads behind the mill's production buildings to some water holes that a former fish farm established with water from Alling Å. They have been cleaned by the municipality and are now filled with animals and plants that can be caught with nets and buckets. The path continues on a short loop of approximately 1.5 km on Holm Mølle's lands.
