The Ramsø Trail runs through Ramsø Valley, a landscape of grazed meadows, marshes, and lakes. A large part of the area is protected and is also an EU bird conservation area. From Gadstrup to Ramsømagle and from Ramsø Søgård to Ringstedvej by Øm, there is a marked hiking route of about 6 km. There are 2 bird towers along the route. Access is also available from Gøderup and from Kirke Syv. The route runs on both privately and publicly owned land, predominantly on areas that belong to Copenhagen Energy. The path is made of grass or bark mulch. In several places, stiles and a single staircase are encountered, so strollers and wheelchairs cannot make it all the way through.
