The North Sea Trail is a cultural and historical path that winds 5000 km along the entire North Sea. In Frederikshavn municipality, we have 132 km that follows the entire East Coast, rounds Skagen's Point, and continues along the West Coast down to Skiveren. The trail follows field paths, forest roads, trails, and byways, as well as cultural and historical paths along the coast and the open countryside. You will experience a wide variety of landscapes and nature along this trail, which can also be taken in sections and combined with many other routes along the way. For example, in Sæby, there is a detour to Sæbygaard Castle, and in Frederikshavn, you can reach Bangsbo. In Skagen, you can connect to the Grenen Trail and experience the nature at Skagen Odde.
