On the route, one can enjoy Hjarbæk Fjord from a lookout point east of the manor.
Taarupgaard:
The area features both beautiful nature and an interesting history. The manor Taarupgaard is located on a square moated site partly surrounded by ditches. The oldest parts of the main buildings date back to the 16th century and are listed as grade A. From 1747 to 1750, the buildings were heavily renovated.
Taarupgaard and its surroundings are privately owned. You are welcome to walk on the marked trails in the area, but there is no public access to the buildings and the surrounding land. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
