Skovsgård Forest is a municipally owned forest in the valley around Vibæk with many old oak and beech trees. In the beautiful varied forest, there are many herbs, birds, and animals, such as the plant species tooth root, which is quite rare in the Viborg area.
For a longer walk, the route can be combined with the quality trail 'Asmild-turen' (red route), which covers a large part of Viborg Nature Park.
There is the opportunity for horseback riding. Horses are directed to the left side of the road.
