The route starts from Voerså Harbor, where there are good shelters, bathing and toilet facilities, and parking. Voer Å has its outlet here and there is an opportunity for canoeing. The route goes from the harbor through the town and further into the distinctive Østerbyen, and along the protected nature reserve Stensnæs, with rich birdlife. From here, the route continues through a bog and heath landscape, before returning to Voerså. The route is currently not marked, but further information can be obtained at www.østkystensguld.dk
