This route takes you around Voergård Castle, which was built between 1481 and 1590, and is an extremely beautiful Renaissance building. Voergaard Castle is most known for being haunted by Stygge Krumpen and Ingeborg Skeel, where Ingeborg Skeel is Denmark's most famous ghost. Many hated Ingeborg Skeel, as she had whipped a child to death and pushed the mayor of Voergård into the moat, where he drowned. It is said that Ingeborg Skeel still haunts the castle, especially in the tower and in the basement, where one can either feel her presence and in the worst case see a white lady. The castle is also known for its bloodstain, which dates back to when Ingeborg Skeel killed a maid for being pregnant out of wedlock.<\p>
