The Hærvejen path runs right past Kalk Kaminoen by the Merchant in Skelhøje, which is a great place to enjoy your packed lunch. If you want to continue your hike further into the countryside, the Hærvejen heads north towards Viborg and south towards Jelling. A trip where you can experience the dramatic and beautiful landscape created during the Ice Age with the Dollerup hills to the east and flat heaths to the west. Along the route, you walk in the footsteps of those who were here before you: old sunken roads, castle ruins, burial mounds, and much more. Have a good trip!
