The route starts from the parking lot in the southeastern corner of the forest by Gårdbogårdvej, where there are also picnic tables. Along the way, you pass by Jennet Egekrat - which is an old oak forest from before the sand drift - and Sdr. Stenslette - which are blown-out beach ridges. Both places have a special and vulnerable natural content, and it is not permitted to drive, cycle, or ride in those areas.
