Hærup Lake lies like a pearl in a small side valley to Skals Ådal. From the parking lot, the route leads past a pine plantation to Skamris Valley. Here, there is a beautiful view over the shallow lake, surrounded by meadows and hills with forest, brush, pastures, and heath. From Skamris Valley, you can walk south down to the bathing area by the lake, or continue west and enjoy a tour in the forest.
