The route starts from the parking lot at the end of Flyndersøvej on soft forest floor through a gorge to Flyndersø's narrowest point, Snævringen. From here, the route continues along the lake and further up into the landscape past kettle holes, through old beech forest and oak thickets, and through heath/marsh areas. The route finally passes by a raised bog and then continues back to the parking lot. The route is marked with yellow arrows.
