Linddalene (2.6 km round trip)

The Linddalene is a 2.6 km round trip in a hilly and varied forest area, where the beech forest stands close to the hills, while heath and meadows spread in the valleys and are tended by grazing animals. The Linddalene is marked with red triangles.

Starting point: There is free parking with no time limit at Markedsgade, 9560 Hadsund (opposite Højmarken 1). By public transport, the bus stop Markedsgade in Hadsund is the nearest connection.

Experiences: Traces from the past are burial mounds, dikes, hollow roads, and 'Bøgerøller', which are beech trees with many trunks. On the trip, you may be lucky enough to encounter the green woodpecker and the rare Northern bird spider. In the late summer, Linddalene is especially beautiful with blooming heather. The hiking trail in Linddalene is marked with red triangles both clockwise and counterclockwise.

Note: The Linddalene passes through an enclosure with grazing sheep. Dogs must be on a leash.
