The trail is approximately 5 km long and runs from Mou Bro to Egense Marina. In bad weather, it may be sensible to walk along the edges of the fields. It is about 1.3 km to the next information board to the east. It is located by the Fisherman's Houses. The trail is marked everywhere with red triangles.

Purpose of the Fjord Trail
The project originally stems from the Coastal Cities Council and is part of the Development Plan for Coastal Cities. The purpose of establishing the Fjord Trail is solely to provide residents of the area, visiting tourists, botanists, ornithologists, and many, many others with the opportunity to experience a unique nature experience that a walk along the eastern end of the Limfjord offers. Furthermore, the trail will promote awareness of the area's cultural historical values, of which the Fisherman's Houses and the abandoned tar site, Stavlbakken, are part. It is a good idea to go down to the beach at the end of Trekantskoven, as many exciting finds can be made from the animal kingdom and among things that have washed ashore at the water's edge. Many also take home a piece of amber!
