"Hemstok Skov route" connects Veng and Nygårde via Nygårdsvej. The trip through Hemstok Skov is a little over 3.5 km and is marked with red pictograms.
Hemstok Skov is a privately owned forest area that forms the easternmost part of Denmark's largest contiguous forest area – the forests in Søhøjlandet.
The route through Hemstok Skov takes you through a hilly forest area, where you can experience the feeling of being very far away from home. And in several places, you can glimpse or look out over Ravnsø.
It is possible to park at Veng Church.
