Coastal Path - Stage 2 - the journey over the "fields"

The stage begins at Østermarksvej, by the descent to Gråsten Nor. From here, the bike path is followed for a short distance and the path crosses over towards Gravendal. The trip from Møllesøvej to Lindsbjerg is hilly and you move up onto the ridge, where there is a fantastic view over both the South Funen Archipelago and the Baltic Sea. The course of the path follows "Tracks in the Landscape" by Gravendal.

From the burial mound in Lindsbjerg, one moves down towards the coast again via an asphalt side road to Eske and Skovbrynke. From here, you continue via field road towards "Sjoen" in Dunkærmark. On the way, the windmills in Vejsnæs are passed. From Dunkærmark, the path goes along the beach meadow by the coast to Risemark beach. From Risemark, you move inland again and follow the asphalt side road to Oldemark. From Klintemarken in Oldemark, the path changes to grass and from here the tour proceeds towards Husmarken. In Husmarken, you turn off and go along the gravel road through Tranderupdal, which is a small gem with a nicely winding stream, home to sea trout.

From Tranderupmark, the journey heads towards the end of the stage at Vieskoven, where you can either walk to Tranderup and take the bus, or continue along the coastal path's 3rd stage towards Bregninge.

The journey goes through a varied cultural landscape with arable land, ancient monuments, beach, and fine nature. There are good bathing opportunities along the way and many fine views over the island and the sea.
