The route starts at Lundø Church. You walk about a kilometer west along Lundøvej, after which you turn right down towards the fjord. The route continues south around the headland at Termø, which is about a kilometer long stone spit that extends into the fjord to the west. You can walk out onto the spit, but it naturally depends on the water level in the fjord how far you can go out. Many birds are found on the spit, and you may be lucky to see seals.
The route continues about 1.75 kilometers along the fjord to the east back to Lundø. The last part of the path goes perpendicular to the coast up towards the church along fields/gravel roads. The route is marked with blue arrows. Note: The part of the route that runs along the fjord can be difficult to pass at high water levels.
