The Clover Trails by Lem - red route - the culture and nature route

The route is suitable for cycling, running, or walking. It takes you through both culture and nature. From the city's landmark, the Heron, to the old railway line, Vestsallingstien, which is a cycling, hiking, or running trail through the beautiful nature of Salling. The trail leads you to Vejby Church, which is one of the 13 churches in the old Spøttrup. It was said that the reason for the many churches was that either the people of Salling were very godfearing or very lazy. The route continues past the shooting range in Slugten, which, due to the special character of the landscape, is called "Little Norway." The manor Bustrup from the 1400s spreads out in Slugten. Further along the route, you see the old Kæmpegård, beautifully situated on the edge of the valley. Here the journey goes to a viewpoint from which you can look out over Sønder Lem Vig, which is a geologically and naturally exciting area with a rich animal, plant, and bird life.
