"Ry Højskole Loop" at Ry Højskole is approximately a 10 km long walk around Ry. There are eight storytelling spots along the way.
The route is not marked with poles and pictograms.
The Højskoleruten goes through the town of Ry and past several of Ry's gems - including Ry Marina, Skimminghøj, Sønder Ege Strand, Anna Klindt Sørensens Have, Torvehallen, and Kyhns Minde. At the various spots, you can learn more about the uniqueness of the place and its significance to the area through short video stories. The stories can be found on Ry Højskole's website.
Ry Højskole was founded in 1892 and is beautifully situated by Rye Mølle lake. The folk high school is an important part of the cultural life in Ry.
Restrooms can be found at Ry Højskole, Sdr. Ege Strand, Skimminghøj, and at Ry station.
