Værløse Air Station

What can you experience? The open nature at the Værløse Air Station is quite special. It offers both marsh, meadow, slopes, and ponds. Although the wide asphalt roads provide opportunities for many forms of outdoor activities, you can often take a calm walk along the path. Additionally, you will pass the campsite, where there is a primitive toilet and the opportunity to enjoy your packed lunch at picnic tables. Along the way, you will also see traces of the Air Station's military past in the form of old F16 hangars.

How is the accessibility? The path is not marked, but the open landscape provides an overview. The paved paths make the route accessible with a stroller or wheelchair. The campsite you pass along the way has a shelter with a lift and a disabled toilet.

How do you get there? The route starts and ends at a parking lot. From Værløse S-train station, you can either bike or take bus 151 to Laanshøj, from where it is about an 800-meter walk to the start of the route.
