The Kanalstien follows a footpath around part of the river valley by Holtum Å (not suitable for those with walking difficulties). The route, which is marked with blue pictograms, follows the old flood irrigation channels that have been partially cleared. Although the trip is short, it offers varied nature, beautiful views over the river valley, and culturally and historically valuable traces in the landscape, in the form of the flood irrigation channels and an aqueduct that tell of the population's use of the landscape over time.
