The Ramsøs trail runs through the Ramsø Valley, which is a landscape of grazed meadows, bogs, and lakes. A large part of the area is protected and is also an EU bird protection area. From Gadstrup to Ramsømagle and from Ramsø Søgård to Ringstedvej at Øm, there is a marked hiking route of approximately 6 km. There are 2 bird towers along the route. Access is also available from Gøderup and from Kirke Syv. The route runs through both privately owned and publicly owned land, primarily on areas belonging to Copenhagen Energy. The path is traversable on grass or bark mulch. In several places, there are stiles and a single staircase, so strollers and wheelchairs cannot complete the route.
